Planning Poker Online is designed to work without accounts or identity verification. You can use an alias as your display name. We aim to collect only the technical and room data needed to provide and protect the service.
The browser stores your display name, theme, locale and a random participant identifier. A room processes its code, participant display names, votes, voting system and custom deck while the session is active. We do not require an account.
Room data is used to connect participants, synchronize votes, reveal estimates and reset the room. Essential browser storage and technical logs support service delivery, reliability, abuse prevention and security. We do not use room data to build advertising profiles.
Room state is held in memory and expires after two hours without activity, or sooner after the owner disconnects. Browser data remains until you clear site or extension storage. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the configured provider retention periods and are not used for advertising.
Cloudflare provides realtime networking and Durable Objects; Vercel provides web hosting. These providers may process technical data in multiple countries under their contractual transfer safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
The service may set a session locale cookie when you choose a language that differs from your browser preference. We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking or third-party analytics.
Use an alias, avoid entering confidential information, share room links only with intended participants and clear site or extension storage when you want to remove locally saved preferences and identity. Closing the room and allowing it to expire removes its active state.
We do not require accounts, sell personal data, run behavioral advertising, use third-party analytics or intentionally retain room votes as a permanent history. We will update this guide before any of those practices change.
Room codes and invite links should be treated like meeting links, not passwords. Do not use Planning Poker Online for secrets, regulated records or highly sensitive personal data. This guide describes the current product design and does not replace disclosures that may be legally required for a public service in a particular jurisdiction.
We will update this notice before introducing accounts, analytics or materially different data uses. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
